Adrienne Teodorovic, Esq.
Adrienne “Adie” (pronounced like the number 80) Teodorovic founded Teodorovic Law, P.C. in 2016 after gaining several years of valuable experience as an associate alongside of some of Denver’s top criminal defense lawyers. Through her experience as an associate, Adie learned to think well beyond the boilerplate issues. She learned how to work a case and find the constitutional and legal obscurities that must be litigated to create a solid record and protect the accused from the overwhelming power of the police, prosecutor, and judicial bench.
Adie attended law school in Macon, Georgia, at Mercer University’s, Walter F. George School of Law. At Mercer, Adie served as a staffer for the National Criminal Defense College (and weekend caretaker of Linkon, the office cat). Her interest in criminal defense later led to an internship at the Federal Defenders of the Middle District of Georgia.
Prior to beginning her career, Adie developed her research and writing strengths in law school while serving as Senior Managing Editor of the Mercer Law Review and Editor for the Journal of Southern Legal History. In law school, she received the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Writing as well as a CALI Award for her writing ability. Additionally, she was inducted into the National Order of Scribes.
Since beginning her solo practice in 2016, Adie has assisted in major motions and litigation support projects in a wide variety of cases, including homicide, theft/embezzlement, sex cases, drug cases, felony trespassing, felony DUI, domestic violence, assault, traffic cases, and variety of other cases in between. Adie has a research contract as well as an appellate contract with Colorado Alternative Defense Counsel. These contracts have exposed her to a wide variety of cases and issues, which has informed and developed her appellate practice. Adie has argued cases in front of the Colorado Court of Appeals and Colorado Supreme Court, and some of Adie’s arguments have resulted in published law.
Adie enjoys the thrill of a good appellate challenge whether ordinary or obscure.
